💲Economy

There is no internal token at Tiki Token. Everything is managed by using the native token of the Polygon network (MATIC).

Tokenomics

Even if there is no internal token in the game, here we will explain some details on how the prizes and fees are collected and applied.

There are only 3 operations in the game that involve money/costs. These are the following:

  1. Minting: every time that NFTs are minted the total cost of the mint are split in 2:

    1. 80% stays in the contract as part of the Prizes Pot

    2. 20% goes as a fee to maintain the project

  2. Trading: once NFTs are minted, the only way of transfer them is by buying/selling them in the Marketplace (the tokens cannot be sent manually out of the wallet or traded in any external Marketplace, so don't try it because most probably it's a SCAM and won't work). Every time a NFT is traded in the Marketplace, 95% of the price goes to the seller and a 5% fee is applied to the operation. In the same way as for Minting, this fee is split as follows:

    1. 80% stays in the contract as part of the Prizes Pot

    2. 20% goes to maintain the project

  3. Claiming: for Marketplace trading, you don't need to do anything, since you, as a seller, will get directly the amount of the trade in your wallet (95% after applied the fee). In the case of winning a prize from a competition your Team is participating in, you'll need to claim the prize. In these cases, the operation has no applied fee. The amount will be directly transferred to your wallet from the contract. The only cost is the transaction cost in the blockchain.

Prizes Pot

As mentioned above, there are two different ways of collecting fees that go directly to the Prizes Pot. The total amount collected in the Prizes Pot is divided equally along the different League Levels (each of the Levels will get a 20% of the Prizes Pot).

This does not mean that every League, no matter the level, gets the same amount of the Prize. This is because each League Level has no the same amount of Leagues within. This will be better explained in the next section: League System
